Full-Time Medical Optometrist to practice full scope in Richmond, VA

I am working with a full scope practice with a highly trained staff of MD’s, OD’s & technicians focused on maintaining the health and medical vision needs of their patients’ eyes. Practice to the fullest extent of your optometrist license. Must be residency trained or experienced in an Ophthalmology setting

Key highlights of the practice:
• OCT, Retinal Camera, Visual Field
• Great mix of medical and primary care Optometry
• No routine eye care, no optical on premises

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):
• See 3+ patients an hour
• Work 40 hours a week
• Custom EHR
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
• Must be residency trained or experience in a MD/OD model

Benefits for the Optometrist (OD) position:
• Competitive compensation with generous productivity bonus- ability to earn $175,000-$200,000+

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD):
• Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Active VA license, must be residency trained or experience in a Ophthalmology setting
