Our full scope optometry practice is looking to hire a Full-time Optometrist in Homewood, IL. Backed by over 50 years of experience, our practice offers an established patient base and equipment to practice full-scope optometry. We are seeking an Optometrist confidently providing comprehensive and medical exams.

Practice highlights for the Optometrist:

– Provide comprehensive and medical exams
– Equipment includes OCT, Visual Fields, Retinal Imaging, Optomap, etc.
– Opportunity to provide specialties including: scleral and other specialty lenses, co-management, etc.
– Excellent referral relationship with Ophthalmology
– Approximately 70% comprehensive vs 30% medical
– Techs handle work up and testing
– Start off seeing 2 patients per hour and grow to your comfort level
– Average patients per day is 18

Compensation and Benefits for the Optometrist:

– Full-time Base salary range of $150,000-160,000
– Bonus opportunities allow compensation of $180,000++
– Full time benefits package includes:Health insurance, PTO, CE, License, Malpractice, 401K with 6% match and more!

Schedule for the Optometrist:

Monday: 9am- last patient 4:45
Tuesday: 9am-last patient 4:45
Wednesday: 9am-last patient 4:45
Thursday: 9am-last patient 4:45
Friday: 9am-last patient 4:45
Every other Saturday: 8am-last patient 1:00
Day off during the week when you work Saturday

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
• License to practice in the state of IL
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment

Salary High: $210,000

Salary Low: $150,000
