Optometrist (OD)

Medically focused practice is hiring an Optometrist for their locations on the north shore in the Plymouth, MA area.  This practice has a large percentage of patients 50+ years old.  Experience with specialty contact lens and or dry eye management is a plus.

Position Highlights:

• Great M-F schedule
• Established MD/OD surgical practice
• Work 4 or 5 days per week
• Average patient age 50+
• See 20–30 patients per day (depending on exam types)
• Experience with specialty contact lenses and dry eye management is a plus
• Low provider turnover and strong team culture
• Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities.  Salary range of $120,000-$160,000
• Excellent benefits package including 401K

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)

• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
• Diagnose disease and vision disorders
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
• License to practice in the state of MA
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
