Optometrist (OD)

Currently seeking an Optometrist for a full-time opportunity with a full scope, patient focused private practice in the New Haven area.

Benefits for the Optometrist (OD)

• Private practice with 2 locations
• New Haven/Middlesex County
• Part or full-time
• Practice treats a lot of glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye etc. in addition to vision exams
• Co-management of cataract and glaucoma surgical patients
• Avg 3-4 patients per hour with tech and scribe
• Ability to provide exam in Spanish would be a bonus but not required
• Competitive salary for full time, per diem for part time
• Equipment includes OCT, Optos, Retinal Camera, Visual Field, etc.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)

• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
• Diagnose disease and vision disorders
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
• License to practice in the state of CT
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
