Pediatric Optometrist Opportunity

Las Vegas, Nevada

A patient-centered, multi-location Ophthalmology practice in Las Vegas is seeking an Optometrist with a strong interest in Pediatrics to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, relaxed environment where the focus is on quality patient care.

Overview

• 4–5 days per week

• No Saturday requirements

• ~20 patients per day

• Dedicated tech and scribe support

• Custom internal EHR system

• Patient base: primarily ages 0–17

Clinical responsibilities include pediatric eye exams, cycloplegic refractions, and diagnosing/managing pediatric ocular conditions. The practice also receives regular referrals from pediatricians and optometrists, providing a steady flow of medically-oriented cases to be investigated by the new OD before referring to the in-house pediatric Ophthalmologists.

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed salary to start ($150k+)
• Transition to production-based compensation at your discretion after year 1
• $500/month health stipend
• CME + professional dues covered
• PTO included
• 1099 independent contractor

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

• Eligible for or currently holding Nevada optometry license

• Interest in pediatric optometry required

Preferred:

• Pediatric residency training

• Experience working with children or in a medical optometry setting
