Physician-owned Ophthalmology practice is looking for a full-time Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join them on a partnership track. The scope for comprehensive here includes cataracts, glaucoma, and medical retina with an opportunity to do minor plastics if interested. Cataract volume can reach over 20/week with opportunities to do refractive cataract surgery.
The practice consists of a single clinic site and is comprehensive in scope with a retina surgeon in the practice. Current providers have a network of ODs that refer patients to them for surgery. Surgery is done at a nearby, 2 OR surgery center, that can be bought into. There is no hospital call.
Compensation will be a base salary of at least $275,000 (for new residents) with a production bonus and more for candidates with experience. Partnership is generally offered after 2 years and includes the real estate.
Requirements of the Ophthalmologist
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified/Eligible
- Open to 2025 residents
