Great opportunity for a medical Optometrist to work alongside a fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist in beautiful Sioux City, IA – M-F only, off early on Fridays!
This well-established Ophthalmology and Optometry practice in Sioux City is seeking a warm and dedicated Optometrist to practice full-scope. The practice is very adaptive to new treatments and technologies, boasting an OCT, visual field, YAG laser, pachymetry, etc.
Highlights of the position:
- MD/OD practice
- EHR: MDeye
- Practice has OCT, VF, YAG laser, pachymetry, etc.
- Most patients are adult to geriatric
- Tech assistance
- Hours: Mon-Thu 8-4:30, Fri 7:30-3
Responsibilities of the OD:
- See 20-25 patients/day
- Diagnose and treat mild-to-moderate ocular disease
- Surgical pre- and post-ops
- Comprehensive exams
- Contact lens fittings

Minimum qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry Degree (O.D.)
- Valid Iowa license
