Well-established optometric practice in Santa Paula, CA seeks an optometrist to join their team – Mon-Fri only!

For years, local physicians have referred to them as the experts in diagnosing and treating eye disease and trauma. Today, they utilize cutting edge technology to manage conditions like glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration as well as hypertension and diabetes with greater precision. The hallmark of their service is utilizing the most advanced knowledge, care, and equipment available delivered with a healthy dose of old fashioned kindness.

Highlights of the position:

• Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:30
• Full medical and routine vision exams
• Co-manage ocular disease, surgical post-ops, specialty contacts
• 18 patients/day on avg
• Split between 2 locations: Santa Paula and Fillmore
• 3 lanes in Santa Paula, 2 lanes in Fillmore
• Techs do all pretesting
• EHR: Revolution

Compensation/benefits for the position:

• Earn 15% gross production ($500 min, up to $700 per diem)
• Benefits: Health insurance, malpractice, sick leave, IRA, all major holidays off

Minimum qualifications:

• Basic optometric Spanish
• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• California license
