Beautiful, MD/OD practice in Raleigh, NC is looking for an Ophthalmologist to help with the cataract volume! We are booked months and months out and succession planning. Our current MD does over 2,400 cataracts a year and is ready to start slowing down. He will be handing over a large portion of his surgeries to the new associate. Opportunity to walk into a full patient base Day 1. We serve a large geographical area surrounding Raleigh and have an excellent OD referral network. The new doctor must value networking with ODs in the area. The ODs see post-ops. It is an underserved area in Glaucoma so we would gladly consider a Glaucoma surgeon who would like to focus on high volume cataracts as well. We also see a lot of diabetic patients so an interest in medical retina would help to serve our current patient base. ODs cover call time for the practice and there is hospital call – very minimal and only a few times a year. Surgeries are done in local hospitals and an outpatient multispecialty ASC. Potential for ownership in the ASC. We have a very efficient practice with a wonderful support team. The techs/scribes go to each location with the MD.
