Full-Scope Optometrist Opportunity | $160K–$200K+++ | $150K Student Loan Repayment | Kenai, AK

A well-established, doctor-owned private practice in Kenai, Alaska is seeking a full-time optometrist to join its collaborative three-doctor team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an OD looking to practice full-scope optometry with clinical autonomy, experienced support, strong earning potential, and an exceptional quality of life on the Kenai Peninsula.

The practice has built a strong reputation throughout the region and serves a loyal patient base with a wide variety of comprehensive and medical eye care needs. Doctors have the opportunity to manage ocular disease, provide surgical co-management, fit specialty contact lenses, treat dry eye, provide myopia management, and incorporate laser and advanced procedures into patient care.

Providers see approximately 16–24 patients per day with assistance from experienced technicians and licensed support staff. The practice offers a collaborative environment while giving doctors the autonomy and resources needed to practice at the top of their scope.

• OCT
• Daytona Optos
• Visual Field
• ERG
• Lumenis IPL
• SLT/YAG laser

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Some Saturday coverage
• Strong emphasis on work-life balance

Compensation & Benefits

• $160,000–$200,000+++ first-year earning potential, with opportunity to increase over time
• Up to $150,000 in student loan repayment

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Alaska optometry license or eligibility for licensure
