Optometrist (OD)

A well-established, private MD/OD practice in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a full-time Optometrist to take over a loyal, built-in patient base as our longtime OD prepares for retirement. This is a rare chance to step into a thriving practice with an existing schedule, strong referral relationships, and a collaborative medical model — without the growing pains of starting from scratch.

Position Highlights:

• Balanced scope of care: A great mix of comprehensive eye exams, medical optometry, and post-operative care alongside our ophthalmology team
• Reasonable patient volume: Average of 24 patients per day (higher volume on post-op days), fully supported by experienced technicians and a scribe so you can focus on patient care, not paperwork
• True work-life balance: Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings and no weekends — ever
• Established patients, day one: Inherit a retiring optometrist’s loyal patient base, built over years of trusted care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $150,000+, plus production bonus

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
• License or ability to obtain a license to practice in the state of PA
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
