About the Practice

A well-established, independently owned optometry practice serving southeast Colorado through two locations in La Junta and Lamar. The practice provides full-scope optometric care to patients of all ages and offers a broad scope of clinical services in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

The practice is equipped with advanced technology, including:

• Eidon ultra-widefield retinal camera
• OCT imaging system
• Virtual reality visual field system
• YAG/SLT combination laser
• Marco OPD III corneal topographer, wavefront analyzer, and autorefractor

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Optometrist for their La Junta location. The practice is open to either full-time or part-time candidates and offers an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive optometry while developing long-term relationships with patients.

This opportunity is ideal for an Optometrist who:

Clinical Scope

The practice provides a wide range of services, including:

• Comprehensive eye examinations
• Pediatric eye care
• Contact lens services
• Ocular disease management
• Medical optometry

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary of $120,000+ (negotiable based on experience)
• Production bonus opportunity after year one

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree required
• Colorado optometry license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Therapeutic certification preferred
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
