Optometrist (OD)

Great opportunity with practice located in the Bronx, NY — situated in a vibrant retail and dining corridor with excellent visibility and foot traffic.  This practice provides a variety of exams including approximately 50 percent medical.

Position Highlights:

• Full Scope Practice – Approximately 50/50 split between Comprehensive and Medical Optometry
  • Diverse Patient Base – Ages 5 and up, offering a rewarding mix of pediatric and adult care
  • Manageable Patient Volume – Averaging 15–20 patients per day with full technical support
  • Specialty Services – Including dry eye treatment, myopia management, and a variety of specialized exams
  • Convenient Parking – A dedicated parking space is provided
  • Competitive Compensation – Per diem of $650–$700 per day
  • Benefits Package – Available for full-time employees

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)

• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
• Diagnose disease and vision disorders
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
• License to practice in the state of NY
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
