Travel Optometrist needed in Bay Area – $750 per diem plus gas and mileage reimbursement
This unique eyecare opportunity involves taking lightweight mobile equipment with you to different assisted living facilities and performing vision screenings on the geriatric population. Make a difference in the lives of your patients, earning $750 per diem for working just 6 hours per day! Mileage and gas are reimbursed.
Overview:
- M-F only, option for 4 day work week
- 8am-2pm typical daily schedule
- Schedule is VERY flexible to fit your needs
- Mobile equipment provided
- Comprehensive vision exams
Areas of coverage:
- Berkeley
- Fremont
- Oakland
- Hayward/San Leandro/Castro Valley
Compensation and benefits:
- $650 per diem salary
- Extra $100 per day bonus
- Gas and mileage reimbursement

Minimum qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.)
- Valid CA optometry license
- Driver’s license
- Willing and able to drive around the area for work
- Passion for caring for the geriatric population
