Wonderful opportunity for an Optometrist to work full-time with a flexible schedule less than an hour from Green Bay in beautiful Sturgeon Bay, WI. No weekends or evenings with full benefits & monthly bonuses.

Live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country – often referred to as the Cape Cod of the Midwest. Practice medical optometry at a busy but comfortably-paced practice with flexibility to build the patient schedule you desire. This family-owned practice of over 40 years serves patients living in Sturgeon Bay and throughout the Door County peninsula. They are booked out for 3 months; a new Optometrist would be able to quickly fill out a full schedule with patients.

Overview:

• M-F only
• Flexible scheduling to fit your needs (ideally 4-5 days/wk)
• Serve mostly adult-geriatric, some pediatrics
• Full tech support (OCT, VF, all pre-testing)
• 16-20 patients per day on average (comps & f/ups)
• Practice has Optovue Solix OCT, Optos California, Humphrey VF, RetEval ERG, iLux2, and Blephex
• Frame brands include Silhouette, Etnia Barcelona, OVVO, Maui Jim, Gucci
• Most patients are fit with daily contact lenses

Responsibilities:

• Manage diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, ocular surface disease, and more
• Comprehensive annual exams
• Fit soft contact lenses as needed
• Be hard-working, positive, and friendly

Compensation and benefits:

• Competitive salary consisting of a base salary (depending on # days/wk) plus monthly bonuses
• Monthly production bonuses factored from services, glasses and contacts
  • This practice does not accept vision plans, so reimbursement rates are above average for you

• 25 days PTO [17 days bundled (10 vacation/5 sick/2 CE) + 8 holidays – includes NY day, Memorial, 4th, Labor, Thanksgiving and day after, Christmas eve and day, NYE (some half day holidays)]

Minimum qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) *please do not apply if you are not an Optometrist*
• Valid Wisconsin Optometry license
