Optometrist need for full scope practice has full time opening for an Optometrist in the beautiful New River Valley, VA. M-F only!

Located close to Virginia Tech & 45 minutes from Roanoke VA. Outstanding recreational opportunities: hiking, mountain biking, rafting

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):

• State of the art equipment
• Diagnose disease, glaucoma, specialty fits, dry eye center
• Contact Lens & Specialty Lens fittings
• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
• Techs do pre-test and history
• See on average 15-17 patients a day- no high volume!
• EHR
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD):

• Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD)
• Prefer license to practice in the state of VA
