Busy Optometric practice in Sparks, NV practice has opening for an Optometrist! Practice to the fullest extent of your license.

A busy private practice is looking to add a full-time Optometrist to their practice as they expand. They are currently booking 4 months in advance and recently moved to a new practice location to accommodate for extra help.

Overview:

• Mon-Fri, 8-5pm
• Maestro OCT, Fundus Camera, Visual Field, autorefractor, in-house lab with edger, lensometer
• Tech does pretesting
• EHR – ExamWRITER
• Patient base covers all ages
• 16-18 patients per day

Compensation and benefits: 

• $150,000 annually if full-time
• $600 per diem if part-time
• Health and dental insurance
• NV licensure
• Must be 1099

Responsibilities:

• Balance of medical and primary care optometry
• Diagnose ocular disease and vision disorders, co-manage LASIK and PRK patients
• Contact lens & specialty lens fittings (scleral & keratoconus)
• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision exams

Minimum qualifications:

• Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD)
• Valid NV license
• Must have your own professional liability insurance
• Willing to learn
• Autonomy
