Fantastic opportunity for a medical Optometrist to join a renowned surgical Ophthalmology practice in the south Twin Cities. M-F only, tech support, competitive pay

Join a well-established Ophthalmology practice that has been providing dedicated vision care to the Twin Cities for over 25 years. Their ODs practice at the top of their licenses. They are a surgical practice but they also see plenty of disease. They are a resource to their optometric community and are routinely sent corneal ulcers, uveitis, etc. The balance of surgical consults, pre/post ops, as well as disease management and consultative referrals makes this a well-rounded position. You may see some comprehensive exams because of the age and reputation of the practice, but that is the minority. They do not have an optical.

Overview:

• M-F 7:30-4:30
• Dedicated tech support
• 3 patients per hour
• EHR: Compulink
• Pre/post-operative care, ocular disease, ulcers, comprehensive exams
• Call: Once every 5-6 weeks (no hospital or ER call)
• Primary call is handled by a senior certified tech, nurse, or resident
• Competitive compensation DOE plus benefits

Minimum qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.)
• Valid MN Optometry license
• Residency training preferred but not required
• Team player, interest in learning
