Well-established Optometric practice in Hutchinson and Litchfield, MN seeks a full time Optometrist – 4-day work week!

This practice provides a full spectrum of eye care and vision health services to Hutchinson and surrounding communities. They’re stocked with top-of-the-line equipment, techs and scribes for support, and offer a great compensation and benefits package. Known as Minnesota’s Hometown, you will feel welcomed and comfortable. Hutchinson has a unique mix of small town community, industry, historical significance, and modern convenience.

Highlights of the position:

• 20 patients/day on avg
• Typically 2 exams and 1 follow-up per hour
• Equipment includes OCT, visual field, Optos imaging, IPL & LLLT, autorefractors, topographers
• 1-2 techs per shift, scribe at Hutchinson location
• EHR: OfficeMate
• Future buy-out opportunity
• Salary: $120k-140k + 16% monthly after meeting production
• Benefits: Medical & dental, malpractice & disability insurances, CE ($1000/yr), state & DEA licensing, life insurance ($2000/yr), simple IRA 3% match, mileage reimbursement for travel, eye care benefits, sign-on/relocation bonus ($5000)

Responsibilities of the OD:

• Co-manage diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, LASIK evaluations, cataract pre- & post-ops, specialty contacts (sclerals, keratoconus, ortho-k), dry eye, foreign body removal, myopia control, routine exams
• Travel between 2 locations weekly – Hutchinson and Litchfield (mileage reimbursed)
• Work 4 days/week (2 days per location)

Minimum qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.)
• Minnesota optometry license
