Well-established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice located in the metro area with 3 MDs and 2 ODs. The practice is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join on a partnership track.

This position is intended to backfill for a retirement and departure of a young associate. The practice currently refers out retina and complicated glaucoma, any other kind of patient will be available to you. The practice does implant premium lenses and the current surgeons would offer mentorship to young associates on these types of patients.

Clinic volumes are kept very manageable. The practice believes this approach allows the providers to develop strong relationships with their patients. The providers are supported by a team of techs within the clinic and utilize Nextech EMR.

Surgery is done at a nearby surgery center that can be bought into. There is no required hospital call, although the hospital will compensate for call.

Partnership can be offered in as little as a year – all surgeons are currently partners.

Requirements of the Ophthalmologist

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Open to 2023 residents
