MD/OD practice in Boise, Idaho seeking full time Optometrist

I am working with a MD/OD practice to find an optometrist to provide eye care to patients utilizing the fullest extent of their license.

Key highlights of the practice:

• OCT, OPD, ECC, VF, retinal camera
• 90% pathology exams/10% general exams

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):

• Scribe and a tech will take medical history and prep patients
• See 4 patients an hour – lots of pre & post ops
• Work hours: Monday – Thursday 8-5 pm & Friday 8-3 pm
• EMR: Medflow switching to Modern Medicine
• Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Benefits for the Optometrist (OD) position:

• $120K – $130K DOE + Quarterly bonus
• Benefits include Health, Dental, Malpractice Insurance, CE, 3-Weeks’ Vacation, 401-K, Licensures
• W-2 Employee

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD):

• Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
