Busy Optometric practice in Boise, ID seeks a residency-trained Optometrist to work with pediatric patients. Tue-Fri only!

This successful pediatric Optometry practice is booked out and ready for an Optometrist to come into a full-time patient load. At this practice you will find a team of residency trained pediatric optometrists and a professional staff trained to work with children; providing exceptional care in a child and family centered environment. They are seeking an Optometrist that is residency trained in Neuro-Optometry, Binocular Vision, or Pediatric Optometry.

Highlights of the position:

• Very busy, up-to-date practice
• 90% of patients are pediatric
• Tech assistance
• Tue-Fri only!
• EHR: Compulink
• Salary: $135k-155k

Responsibilities of the O.D.:

• See 2 patients per hour on avg.
• Treat complex refractive errors, eye infections, & pediatric vision conditions
• Amblyopia & strabismus treatment
• Myopia management
• Evaluate failed vision screenings
• Opportunities for binocular vision, athlete vision, and functional vision assessments
• Dyslexia evaluation
• Urgent care

Requirements of the O.D.:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)
• Residency training in neuro-optometry, binocular vision, or pediatric optometry
• ID license
• Team-oriented, able to work with OT
