Medical OD needed in Colorado Springs community health center – high pathology & no weekends

A thriving Colorado Springs community health center seeks a dedicated optometrist to handle high-pathology volume. Their continuing mission is to provide exceptional medical care to the population of Colorado’s Pikes Peak and East Central regions.

Highlights of the position:

• OCT, visual field, Optos retinal imaging, Welch Allyn autorefractor, anterior seg OCT, etc.
• Full-scope vision clinic, lots of pathology
• No weekends
• Great work-life balance

Responsibilities of the optometrist:

• Diagnose ocular disease and vision disorders
• Contact lens fittings
• Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
• Work 4 or 5 days/week

Benefits for the position:

• $130,000-$145,000
• 75% paid health insurance, IRA, malpractice insurance

Requirements of the optometrist:

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
