Private, Physician owned, Ophthalmology practice is looking for an associate to join as soon as possible. The current owner would like to cut back and hand cases over to the new associate. This is more of a medical ophthalmology position. If you want to do cataracts then the opportunity is there but it is lower volume. You could build up to 2-300 cataracts eventually. The MD is currently not doing cataracts but all medical ophthalmology/in office procedures, YAGS, lasers, minor procedures, etc. Willing to keep all cataracts in house if the new associate wants to do them. Full patient base and busy immediately. Sound to good to be true- great work life balance, Base of $500k, heart of NYC, and in an upscale premier Ophthalmology clinic? The opportunity is rare but a wonderful one! The associate must have at least 7 years of experience (not including residency).
